Are you looking to build a long-term career in accounting? We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Accounting Clerk for an onsite position in Suffolk, VA. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity to get your foot in the door with a supportive company.

This position starts as a full-time temporary role with a clear opportunity to transition to a permanent team member based on performance. If you have at least one year of experience in either Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable and are looking for a place to grow, we want to hear from you!

salary: $16 - $19 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• • Process Vendor Invoices
  • Perform Check Runs
  • Collect on past-due accounts
• Required qualifications:
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Understanding of A/P and A/R processes

Skills

• Collections (1 year of experience is preferred)
• Accounts Payable (1 year of experience is preferred)
• Accounts Receivable (1 year of experience is preferred)
• Processing vendor invoices (1 year of experience is required)
• Check runs (1 year of experience is required)
• Excel (1 year of experience is required)
• Accounts Payable or Receivable (1 year of experience is required)
