Business Operations Specialist- Hybrid, Philadelphia or Cambridge

This role can be remote outside the Cambridge, MA Area.
We are currently seeking a Business Operations Analyst to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Business Operations Analyst at ICON, you will analyze activity performance, develop accurate reporting tools, ensure consistent project reporting, conduct cost/benefit analyses, and drive continuous improvement efforts across the organization by collaborating with various departments.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Develop and maintain custom sales and expense tracking dashboards.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend action plans.
- Implement tools and analytical measures for guidance to finance, operations, and senior management.
- Manage Key Financial Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Track, monitor, and update sales opportunities across business units.
- PO creation and in PO System management.
- Contract Management and contract systems management.
- Coordinate revenue and backlog forecasting in collaboration with Finance.
- Provide regular reports on key financial metrics, participate in Salesforce software training, and assist in developing Project Management work process documents.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in Contracts, Business Operations, Purchasing or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in using data visualization tools and dashboard creation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Purchase Order creation experience required.
- Purchasing systems experience required.
- Experience using MS Excel for data analysis.
- Contract management systems experience highly desired.
- Familiarity with SAP Ariba software is a plus.
- CRO or Pharma experience is preferred.
- Available to be in office 3 days a week in Cambridge, MA if reside in the area.
