Driver Pay

Average annual earnings: $95,000 – $110,000

$0.52 – $0.56 CPM
~1,500 miles per week

$50 daily pay (must work all scheduled days)

Additional pay:

$42 NYC borough stops (Queens, Bronx, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island)

$45 lift gate stops

$21 drop & hook

$15/hr detention

$20/hr training pay

$200/day new hire training pay

$160/day holiday pay

Schedule

Home Daily

Available schedules:

Off Sunday / Friday

Off Sunday / Wednesday

Off Sunday / Thursday

6-day schedule (Sunday off only – higher earning potential)

Start time:

Early morning start (~2:30 AM)

12–14 hour shifts

6-day work weeks required during peak holiday periods

Early start times allow for more consistent delivery windows into NYC.

Freight & Routes

Fresh and frozen grocery deliveries
Refrigerated trailers

Typical work:

1 long load per day (sometimes a second shorter load)
~15–20 stops per week
~2–3 stops per trailer

Operating area:

Within 350 miles of North Hatfield, MA

Primary lanes:

NYC boroughs + Long Island (80–90% of deliveries)
Additional routes: NJ, MA, VT, RI, NH, ME, PA, Upstate NY

Drivers should expect to deliver in NYC daily

Freight Handling

Combination of driver-assisted and palletized freight
Electric pallet jacks provided

Drivers are responsible for store-level deliveries and unloading assistance

Equipment

Assigned automatic day cab tractors
Refrigerated trailers (multiple sizes)
Slip seat operation

Truck remains at account (no take-home)
Uniforms provided

Requirements

Valid CDL-A license
Minimum 3 months tractor-trailer experience
Must be willing to deliver NYC boroughs daily
Must be able to handle multi-stop grocery deliveries
Must be able to start early morning shifts consistently

Strong customer service skills required

Stable work history required. No recent safety terminations.
