Employment Attorney
Responsibilities:
- Advise and represent employers on a broad range of employment law matters
- Develop and review workplace policies, procedures, and compliance initiatives
- Draft, negotiate, and revise employment-related agreements and contracts
- Counsel clients on federal and state employment law compliance issues
- Represent employers in employment-related litigation
- Handle matters before administrative agencies including the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD) and Department of Labor (DOL)
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active admission in Massachusetts
- 5+ years of employment law experience, preferably representing management-side employers
- Experience advising employers on a wide range of employment law issues
- Strong background drafting employment agreements, policies, and related documentation
- Experience litigating employment matters in court and before administrative agencies including MCAD and DOL
- Employment investigations experience is a plus
