Hard Top Glass Installer
Sea Fox Boat Works – Moncks Corner, SC
Position Summary
Sea Fox Boat Works is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hard Top Glass Installer to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for the installation, fitting, sealing, and quality inspection of glass components used in hard tops and windshields on premium offshore fishing and recreational boats. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, works safely, and maintains the high-quality standards that Sea Fox customers expect.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Install glass windshields, hard top enclosures, and related components according to engineering specifications and production schedules.
• Measure, align, fit, and secure glass panels to ensure proper installation and appearance.
• Apply adhesives, sealants, and weatherproofing materials to achieve a watertight and durable finish.
• Inspect glass and hardware components for defects prior to installation.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized installation equipment safely and effectively.
• Verify proper fit, finish, and functionality of installed components.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
• Troubleshoot and correct installation issues as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure production goals and quality standards are met.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with additional production duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in glass installation, marine manufacturing, automotive glass installation, construction, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to read measuring devices accurately.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to varying temperatures and humidity levels.
• Must be able to safely handle glass and related materials.
