Position : 1 High School English/IELTS Teacher
Responsibilities：
Prepare and deliver English/IELTS Speaking &Writing lessons as a compulsory course;
Make appropriate teaching plans according to the levels of the students;
• Assesses students’ performance and provides feedback;
• Create a pure English learning environment for students, organize interesting activities and improve their spoken English;
• Take part in school activities according to the school arrangement;
• Attend staff meetings in order to remain current about educational policies, special procedures and fully understand the teaching requirement;
• Office hour: Yes; Regular schedule: 8:30-4:30/ Extra morning class: 7:25-8:30/ Extra afternoon class: 17:00-17:50
• Student age: 15-17;

Details:
• 1. Core Teaching Courses (Confirmed & Fixed)
• 2.The teaching work is mainly focused on oral English training, covering multiple fixed course types as follows:
• 2.1 Priority teaching: IELTS Speaking courses, which are the core mainstream courses of the position.
• 2.2 Student club courses: Including original English novel appreciation and other extended reading and appreciation courses for students.
• 2.3 School-based oral English courses: Oral English courses for regular high school students.
• 2.4 Academic writing courses: Candidates are required to be competent in IELTS Essay teaching. Additionally, the position covers ESL and English writing teaching.
• 3. Tentative Elective Course (Pending Confirmation)
• The school plans to launch a new elective course named Tertiary Study Skills in the next semester. The official opening of the course is pending final confirmation. Candidates need to be informed and reserved for this possible teaching task in advance.
• 4. Class Hour Arrangement
• 4.1 Average weekly class hours: The average weekly teaching workload is about 20 class hours.
• 4.2 Class hour fluctuation: During the examination period of AL and other school programs, the weekly class hours will be significantly reduced.
• 4.3 Temporary extra class hours: During the school’s enrollment season (concentrated in about one month per semester), there may be 1 extra class hour on Saturdays and 1 extra school-based course for regular high school students, with a total workload increase of about 2 class hours at most.
• 5. Regular Enrollment Activity Work
• The foreign teacher needs to participate in school enrollment activities concentrated in one month per semester, with a possible working arrangement of one hour on Saturdays during this period.
• 6. Summer Vacation Special Work Arrangement
• 6.1 The school’s summer vacation period is from July 1 to August 31 every year.
• 6.2 Every July 1 to July 10, the school holds a summer camp for new senior one students. Foreign teachers may be arranged to take courses during the summer camp.
Selection Criteria:
Native speaker from English-speaking countries only;
• Bachelors degree or equivalent. A postgraduate degree is optional and will enhance your conditions of employment;
• Teaching experience required;
• Lively, cheerful, outgoing and good at communication;
English teaching qualification such as TESOL or TEFL certificate;
At least 1 year teaching experience preferred.

• Monthly salary starts at 20-21k (in RMB yuan) depending on qualifications and experience
