## About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resource Manager to support and enhance our people operations across the organization. This role is responsible for managing core HR functions including employee relations, talent acquisition support, performance management, compliance, workforce planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with strong communication skills, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of HR best practices and employment regulations within the United States.
## Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee relations activities
* Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives
* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
* Partner with leadership teams on workforce planning and organizational development
* Oversee employee performance management programs and HR policies
* Maintain HR records, systems, and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality
* Assist in developing employee engagement and wellness initiatives
* Support compensation, benefits, and payroll coordination processes
* Provide guidance to managers regarding HR policies and workplace matters
* Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures
## Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
* 5+ years of experience in Human Resources management or related leadership roles
* Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws and HR compliance practices
* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
* Experience managing employee relations and performance management processes
* Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
* Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office tools
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment
## Preferred Qualifications
* HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR
* Experience supporting multi-state or remote teams
* Background in scaling HR processes within growing organizations
