Title:
JIRA/Confluence Administrator

KBR is seeking a JIRA/Confluence Administrator to join our team in El Segundo, CA and take charge of managing and optimizing our JIRA and Confluence instances.

Responsibilities include:
  • Administer JIRA and Confluence, including user management, permissions, workflows, and configurations
  • Customize JIRA workflows, fields, screens, and reports to align with our business processes and requirements
  • Configure Confluence spaces, templates, macros, and plugins to support effective collaboration and knowledge management
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for JIRA and Confluence users, including training sessions and documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and implement solutions in JIRA and Confluence
  • Stay current with industry best practices and new features/releases of JIRA and Confluence to continuously improve our systems
Work Environment:
  • Location: On-site - El Segundo, CA

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Security Clearance: Must possess an active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance and eligible for SCI, which only a U.S. citizen can obtain
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 4+ Experience with working in a DoD program acquisition office
  • 1+ years of work experience in JIRA/Confluence
  • Proven experience as a JIRA/Confluence Administrator or similar role, with in-depth knowledge of JIRA and Confluence administration and configuration
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience implementing Agile workflows in JIRA
  • Familiarity with Confluence for documentation, knowledge management, and collaboration
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • JIRA and/or Confluence certifications are desirable but not required
Desired:
  • Active U.S. Government TS/SCI Security Clearance, which only a U.S. citizen can obtain
Basic Compensation: $76,300 - $114,400 (This salary range is for California only)
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
