Description:
Inland Respite, Inc. is seeking a motivated Junior Recruiter to join its Talent Acquisition team in a hybrid role based in Corona and Menifee, California. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about recruitment, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to support a mission-driven organization focused on delivering quality community services.

The Junior Recruiter will play a key role in supporting high-volume hiring efforts by managing early-stage candidate engagement, coordinating interviews, maintaining applicant tracking systems, and ensuring a smooth and positive hiring experience from application through onboarding completion.

This role works closely with hiring managers and the broader recruitment team to ensure hiring goals are met efficiently while maintaining compliance and candidate satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Candidate Management:

  • Source and attract candidates using job boards, outreach efforts, and community partnerships
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and outreach communications
  • Maintain consistent communication with applicants throughout the hiring process
  • Manage candidate records and updates within ATS systems (AcquireTM or similar platforms)
  • Ensure accurate tracking of candidate progress and hiring stages
  • Assist in preparing offer letters based on approved templates and guidelines
  • Support high-volume entry-level recruitment initiatives
  • Provide a professional and positive candidate experience throughout all stages

Hiring Manager Collaboration:

  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and hiring priorities
  • Provide regular updates on candidate pipelines and interview progress
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews across departments
  • Support alignment between recruiters and hiring teams to improve hiring efficiency

Sourcing & Community Engagement:

  • Develop and maintain community partnerships to strengthen candidate pipelines
  • Represent the organization at job fairs, recruitment events, and outreach programs
  • Contribute to employer branding and sourcing strategy improvements
  • Identify new sourcing methods to improve applicant flow and diversity outreach

Recruitment Operations & Reporting:

  • Support administrative tasks across the recruitment lifecycle
  • Maintain structured and compliant hiring workflows
  • Assist with recruitment reporting and performance tracking (KPIs, pipeline metrics, hiring trends)
  • Identify gaps in recruitment processes and suggest improvements
  • Support diversity and inclusion hiring initiatives

Onboarding & Systems Coordination:

  • Ensure candidates complete onboarding requirements within internal systems (AcquireTM)
  • Track onboarding progress and follow up to ensure timely completion
  • Enter and verify new hire data into ADP Lyric after onboarding completion
  • Coordinate the transition from offer acceptance through final hiring stages
  • Escalate delays or issues to ensure smooth onboarding timelines

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in recruiting, coordination, or administrative support
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with ATS platforms preferred
  • Familiarity with high-volume or entry-level hiring environments is an advantage
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid or remote setting
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong time management skills

Work Environment:
This role requires regular computer and phone-based work, including virtual communication with candidates and hiring managers. Occasional travel to job fairs or recruitment events may be required. The position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured and deadline-driven environment.
