Leasing Agent

Marous Management Services is currently seeking a full-time  Leasing Agent  in Willoughby, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for responding to inquiries to generate prospective residents, resulting in maintained and increased occupancy. You will also be responsible for communicating with existing residents and establishing a successful renewal program.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
• 2 years of previous experience within the residential leasing industry or 1 year of sales experience  preferred

Pay: $18-$20/hour, depending on experience

Additional Responsibilities:

• Obtain lease information and complete lease applications
• Work to achieve budget goals for occupancy
• Ensure individual keys are issued and returned upon moveout and locks are changed promptly
• Collect and record rental payments, application fees, security deposits, etc.
• Prepare and process resident service requests
• Maintain lease files
• Assist in maintaining office record keeping system
• Perform move-in and move-out inspections
• Update the daily, weekly and monthly activity on vacancy reports
• Assist with preparation of the monthly newsletter
• Obtain purchase orders per company policy
• Check vacant apartments on a weekly basis for leaks or damage
• Collaborate with the Property Manager to assess changes in the rental market
• Perform other duties related to the work as assigned
