Position Summary
The Hill School seeks a pool of Math Tutors to support students in grades 9–12 across all levels of high school mathematics (Algebra III, Geometry, Precalculus, and Calculus). Tutors play an important role in supporting student confidence, independence, and academic growth in a structured and encouraging environment. Tutors will provide individualized or small-group academic support aligned with classroom instruction, helping students strengthen content knowledge, build problem-solving skills, and develop effective study habits.
This outreach is intended to create a resource for families who may be seeking additional academic support. Tutors are not employees of The Hill School and are not paid through school payroll. Tutoring arrangements, scheduling, and payment are handled directly between families and tutors, and placement is not guaranteed. Sessions typically take place in the afternoons or on weekends, based on mutual availability. Tutors considered for this pool must be willing to complete required background checks and clearances in order to be connected with families.Start Date: Flexible, beginning immediately
