Position: Hindi Content Annotation Specialist

Type: Remote

Compensation: $32–$40/hour

Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

  • Review Hindi-language video content and write detailed evaluations in English.
  • Identify and describe problematic content, including implied meaning, coded language, and cultural subtext.
  • Assess viewer impact across emotional and sensitivity dimensions.
  • Apply structured rating frameworks to categorize content appropriateness.
  • Research unfamiliar references (Hindi slang, trending memes, regional context) to ensure accurate evaluations.
  • Triage content that doesn't meet review criteria, such as wrong language or broken media.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Native or fluent Hindi speaker with a deep understanding of Hindi internet culture, slang, memes, and regional context.
  • Professional writing ability in both Hindi and English .
  • Strong analytical and interpretive skills.
  • Ability to evaluate sensitive and disturbing content objectively.
  • Familiarity with short-form social media video formats.
  • Reliable internet connection for streaming video.

Preferred

  • Experience in content annotation, content moderation, or trust and safety.
  • Comfortable working with mature, graphic, or sensitive content daily.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on both literal content and underlying intent.
  • Strong written communication skills.
