Job Summary (List Format):
- Position: School-Based Occupational Therapist
- Schedule: Two days per week (potential to combine with other openings for full-time)
- School Year: 2026-2027
- Location: Carol Stream and Bloomingdale, IL area
- Caseload:
- Primarily elementary students
- Mild to moderate needs
- Covers 1-2 schools, including a nearby parochial school
- Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Work with children with mild to moderate therapy needs
- Collaborate and communicate with school staff and therapy team on evaluations and treatment plans
- Use EMR or IEP online documentation systems
- Desired Experience & Skills:
- Previous pediatric or school-based therapy experience (fieldwork or professional)
- Experience in therapeutic settings with children
- New graduates welcome; mentorship available
- Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Illinois
- Compensation:
- $50-60 per hour, based on experience
- Tax-free stipends available for full-time assignments (if eligible)
