Gage Hospitality Group is currently seeking a fun and passionate Pastry Sous Chef to join our team at The Gage. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the restaurant's high productivity, quality, and customer service standards are maintained.
What You'll Do
- Lead the Line: Set the gold standard. You must be the fastest, cleanest, and most elegant platter on the line during peak high-volume service.
- Station Leadership: Cultivate a culture of station ownership; lead and empower the pastry staff to manage their own prep, organization, and cleanliness with meticulous detail.
- Technical Execution: Oversee the daily prep list, ensuring the team reads, scales, and executes complex recipes with 100% technical accuracy.
- Reporting & Collaboration: Work closely with the Corporate Executive Pastry Chef to implement menu changes, maintain quality standards, and provide feedback on team performance.
- Team Mentorship: Actively coach Pastry Cooks on speed, technique, and the "clean-as-you-go" philosophy.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain expert-level allergen knowledge and hold the team accountable to 100% Sanitation and Food Handler standards

Required Education, Experience and Documentation:
- 3+ years of pastry experience, with at least 1 years in a lead, management or Sous Chef capacity within high-volume or multi-unit environments
- Ability to fluently speak, write and read in the English language
