What you’ll get to do:

• Operate all facets of the systems and equipment; demonstrate the ability and willingness to move from one area of the plant to another.
• Operate various mobile equipment, including Bobcat, fork truck, skid steer, person-lift, front-end loader and pickup truck.
• Assist the Lead Operator and/or Maintenance Operator with inventory.
• Complete minor mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on all plant equipment.
• Operate all site conveyors and process equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure all equipment and grounds are kept clean and free of built-up ash and debris.
• Follow standard safety and environmental procedures, and correct safety and environmental hazards.
• Perform simple laboratory analyses.
• Be available to support the operation by working overtime as required.

What you need to have:

• 3-5 years’ plant operations experience in a production environment
• Mechanical and maintenance skills; welding a strong plus
• Heavy equipment operation experience, particularly front-end loader, a strong plus
• Strong work ethic and sound judgment
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Ability to work effectively in adverse environmental conditions
• Team player spirit
• Respect for Safety, Health & Environment in the workplace
