Job Description

We are in search of a PR & Marketing Director to lead our public relations and marketing efforts with creativity, vision, and results. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on driving brand growth, building community trust, and generating qualified leads through powerful storytelling and strategic campaigns.

LifeWorks Wellness Center is one of the largest integrated practices in the U.S. Patients travel from all over the world to receive our holistic, life-changing treatments for chronic health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and PR strategy aligned with organizational goals
  • Lead all brand awareness initiatives to strengthen and grow the organization’s presence locally, nationally, and beyond
  • Drive demand generation through targeted campaigns that expand reach and attract new audiences
  • Oversee all social media platforms, ensuring consistent voice, engagement, and growth across channels
  • Direct content creation strategy, including blog posts, email marketing, video, photography, and other digital assets
  • Launch and manage integrated campaigns across digital, social, print, and event channels
  • Build and maintain media relationships; manage press releases, media pitches, and earned media opportunities
  • Ensure consistent branding and a positive public image across all platforms and touchpoints
  • Manage and coach a growing marketing team, fostering creativity and accountability
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align marketing initiatives with organizational priorities
  • Use analytics and data-driven insights to measure performance, optimize campaigns, and report on key metrics
  • Manage marketing budget and vendor/agency relationships
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in marketing and/or PR, with at least 3 years in a director or leadership role
  • Proven track record in brand building, demand generation, and audience growth
  • Deep expertise in social media strategy and content creation across multiple platforms
  • Strong background in public relations with demonstrated media and community relations success
  • Ability to develop and execute integrated, multi-channel campaigns that drive measurable results
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to guide strategy and report on performance
  • Passion for mission-driven work; experience in wellness or healthcare a plus
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check & drug screen
Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree)
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media management platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite)
  • Experience with SEO/SEM, email marketing platforms, and content management systems
  • Prior experience overseeing both strategic direction and day-to-day execution of marketing operations
  • Portfolio or examples of successful campaigns, content, or brand initiatives strongly preferred
Language Skills: Must speak English and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Demands:
This role includes extended periods of sitting, walking around the clinic, going up and down stairs, and occasional driving between locations. May include travel.
