Job Description
Large manufacturer and distributor of premium Asian-inspired food is hiring for a 2nd shift Production Supervisor for their operations team. They develop and supply product for some of the leading retailers, wholesalers, and branded Asian-appetizer businesses. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and on-time output
- Lead, train, and manage production staff, ensuring adherence to food safety (GMP, HACCP) and workplace safety standards
- Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with regulatory and company food safety requirements
- Plan and adjust production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines
- Assign tasks, track performance, and provide coaching, feedback, and corrective action as needed
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste
- Ensure proper use, readiness, and basic maintenance of production equipment
- Maintain accurate production, safety, and attendance records; track key performance metrics (KPIs)
- Troubleshoot operational issues and collaborate with management to resolve them quickly
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
