5K C&T Services is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to support the testing of Amazon Connect and cloud-based customer experience solutions.
This role focuses on functional testing, test automation, API and integration testing, regression testing, defect management, CI/CD support, and end-to-end validation of customer and agent experiences.
Hands-on Amazon Connect experience is strongly preferred but not required . Candidates with experience supporting cloud contact centers, IVR, telephony, CRM platforms, or customer engagement solutions are encouraged to apply.
• Design and execute functional, integration, regression, system, smoke, and end-to-end test cases.
• Validate customer journeys across Amazon Connect, IVR, APIs, CRM platforms, and supporting enterprise systems.
• Test inbound and outbound call routing, queues, transfers, callbacks, voicemail, and escalation paths.
• Validate agent and supervisor functionality.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), release validation, and post-deployment verification.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
• Create reusable automated test suites for web applications, APIs, and integrations.
• Expand automation coverage while improving reliability and execution efficiency.
• Analyze automation failures and distinguish application defects from framework or environment issues.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, and release-readiness testing.
• Review build results from Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, or similar platforms.
• Document testing results, quality risks, and release recommendations.
• Track, prioritize, and manage defects using Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Perform root cause analysis and regression testing.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, DevOps engineers, product owners, and business analysts to resolve issues.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, traceability documentation, and execution reports.
• Monitor key quality metrics including:
• Maintain documentation in accordance with governance and quality standards.
• Create and maintain test data for functional and automation testing.
• Support testing using masked, de-identified, anonymized, and synthetic data.
• Ensure secure handling of customer and production-like data.
• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Test Automation.
• 2+ years designing or maintaining automated test frameworks.
• Experience testing web applications, REST APIs, integrations, and cloud-based applications.
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
• Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Programming experience with one or more of:
• Experience using Git.
• Experience managing the complete defect lifecycle using Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of Agile, SDLC, and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
