Job Description

We are seeking a talented and driven Sales Engineer to join our dynamic GTM team in North America. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving and managing the technical evaluation of potential clients, serving as both a technical advisor and product expert throughout the sales process.

Collaborating closely with the sales team, you will bridge the gap between technical and business stakeholders, articulating the value and positioning of our solutions to a diverse audience.

The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, adept at building relationships with business and technical prospects, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

If you're a self-motivated individual who excels under pressure, this is the opportunity to make a significant impact on our growth and success.

This role may be based in Boston, MA, Tampa, FL, or remote for candidates outside these areas.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $140,000-180,000. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including location, level, relevant experience, and skills.

What will you do:
  • Technical Pre-Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to identify and qualify opportunities with MSP and MSSP partners. Provide technical expertise during the sales process, including presentations, demonstrations, and technical deep dives.
  • Partner Enablement: Train and enable MSP and MSSP partners on Cynet’s platform, ensuring they are equipped to deploy and support the solution for their clients.
  • Solution Architecture: Collaborate with partners to design and customize security solutions that meet the unique needs of their customer base using Cynet’s platform.
  • Proof of Concept (PoC) Management: Lead PoCs, manage evaluations, and work with partners to successfully demonstrate Cynet's capabilities.
  • Technical Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to MSP and MSSP partners by providing ongoing enablement, answering technical questions, and helping resolve technical sales issues.
  • Customer Feedback: Act as a liaison between partners and internal teams, providing valuable feedback to product management and engineering to help improve Cynet’s platform and meet market demands.
  • Stay Current: Keep up to date with the latest trends in cybersecurity and managed security services, ensuring partners understand how Cynet stays ahead of emerging threats.

  • Experience working with MSPs and MSSPs is a must.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, including endpoint protection, SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, and threat detection/response.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience conducting technical product demonstrations and PoCs.
