We are seeking an experienced Senior Jira Administrator to manage and support an enterprise Jira Cloud environment . The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring Jira Software and ITSM projects, managing workflows and permissions, building advanced queries, and developing integrations using Jira REST APIs. This role requires strong technical expertise with Atlassian tools, automation, reporting, and plugin management.
Administer and maintain enterprise Jira Software and Jira Service Management (ITSM) projects .
Configure and manage workflows, permissions, issue types, screens, and automations .
Develop advanced JQL queries to support reporting, dashboards, and data analysis.
Build and maintain custom integrations using Jira REST APIs and scripting languages .
Manage and configure Jira plugins such as ScriptRunner, JMWE, and Email integrations .
Implement and maintain reporting solutions using Power BI Connector and eazyBI .
Monitor system performance and ensure the stability and reliability of the Jira platform.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, and business teams to improve Jira workflows and processes.
Document Jira configurations, processes, and technical procedures.
Provide guidance and support to users and teams on Jira best practices.
8+ years of experience managing Jira Software and ITSM environments .
Strong expertise in JQL for complex queries and reporting .
Experience working with Jira REST APIs and scripting for integrations and automation .
Hands-on experience with Jira plugins such as ScriptRunner, JMWE, and Email integrations .
Experience integrating Jira with Power BI or eazyBI for advanced reporting .
Experience administering enterprise-level Jira Cloud environments .
Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills .
Experience supporting large enterprise DevOps or Agile environments .
Experience optimizing Jira for Agile project management and IT service management workflows .
