Salary: $92,300 - 166,850 per year Requirements:
- We require a bachelors degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, though equivalent experience, education, or training may substitute for the degree.
- We require an active DoD Secret clearance before start and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
- We require an active DoD IAT Level II certification, such as Security+, or an equivalent credential before start.
- We require experience documenting logical and physical network designs with tools such as Visio, PowerPoint, Gliffy, Cameo, or MagicDraw.
- We require strong technical troubleshooting skills and comfort resolving complex issues.
- We require experience conducting site surveys or analyzing site survey data.
- We require experience creating or executing migration plans for circuits, traffic, services, applications, or data, or planning/executing technology refreshes.
- We require substantial experience upgrading and managing the lifecycle replacement of network devices.
- We require broad knowledge of networking across LAN, WAN, TCP/UDP, IPSec, VPN, proxies, routing, and firewalls.
- We require experience with at least two vendor technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, F5, Aruba, Palo Alto, Dell, Brocade, or Fortinet.
- We require demonstrated experience designing and implementing medium to large network infrastructures with supporting technical documentation.
- We require the ability to work collaboratively to troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems.
- We require excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft SOPs and technical documentation.
- We require the ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership on high-impact matters.
- We require the ability to present designs and plans to technical leadership and review boards for approval.
- Preferred: CCNP or equivalent certification.
- Preferred: experience with enterprise network management tools such as Palo Alto Panorama, SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, Cisco DNA, WhatsUp Gold, or Junos Space.
- Preferred: experience designing and implementing VTC solutions.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with SD-WAN.
- Preferred: advanced expertise in designing and improving complex geographically distributed enterprise networks.
- Preferred: deep knowledge of DoD network security requirements.
- Preferred: experience hardening network infrastructure, including DoD STIG implementation.
Responsibilities: - We plan and design secure network solutions that consolidate connectivity services into an enterprise model.
- We partner with stakeholders and technical subject matter experts to assess legacy environments, current capabilities, configurations, and unique needs.
- We develop network designs and architectures based on approved design patterns.
- We design secure wide-area connectivity, including underlay, overlay, and COI transport components, to meet performance, QoS, security, and mission objectives.
- We provide secure access solutions using wired and wireless technologies and develop associated implementation and transition plans.
- We incorporate capacity planning and scaling for network and security environments into solution design.
- We evaluate network optimization strategies to achieve capacity and performance targets.
- We identify legacy service paths, including data flows, firewall rulesets, and ACLs, and develop successor enterprise service designs.
- We support IP addressing design across IPv4 and IPv6 networks.
- We work with information assurance teams to ensure compliance with DoD standards and support accreditation artifact development.
