Position: Sr. UKG Project Manager
Location: Dallas, TX, 3 days onsite
Client: CBRE
Duration: 12 Months
Project Management & Delivery:
Lead complex migration projects from UKG Workforce Central (WFC) to UKG Pro WFM, managing cross-functional teams while ensuring timely and on-budget delivery
Lead discovery, planning, and execution phases for upcoming UKG module implementations
Serve as the point of contact between functional teams, IT, UKG representatives, and external partners
Plan and drive IT projects in Human Capital Management; strategize, create project plans, and execute accordingly
Strategic & Administrative Functions:
Direct, define, and coordinate program issues; establish objectives, develop requirements, plan schedules, and estimate costs
Review proposals, negotiate contracts, and monitor technical issues
Strategic planning, leading large-scale implementations, mentoring junior staff, and serving as subject matter experts for process improvements
Ensure knowledge transfer and documentation of best practices, lessons learned, and technical solutions
Stakeholder & Change Management:
Outstanding knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
Strong communication skills; effectively communicate ideas verbally and in writing at all organizational levels
Experience communicating across audiences, effectively defining escalation paths, and updating executive collaborators
Required Experience
General Requirements:
Minimum 7+ years as a project manager with significant technical skills and interpersonal abilities
10+ years of experience managing technical projects in workforce management or HR technology
5+ years of project management experience in application deployment initiatives
Senior UKG experts typically have 5+ years of experience
UKG/Technical Expertise:
Proven experience with UKG Workforce Central (WFC) and UKG Pro WFM migration projects
Experience with UKG software (HRIS and/or other modules) is strongly preferred
Expertise in configuration, administration, and ongoing support of UKG software solutions
Skills & Attributes:
Detail-oriented with superior verbal and written communication skills and proven record of meeting deadlines
Able to work independently with minimal supervision; collaborative, organized, detail-oriented, accurate, and results-driven
Strong decision-making, problem-solving, analysis, task, and time management skills
Demonstrated experience managing projects to profitability while balancing customer needs and expectations
