2 Days REMOTE per week. Randstad is excited to be partnering with a well-established firm in the Harrisburg, PA area as they add to their accounting team. Our client seeks to bring on a Staff Accountant who will support the Accounting Manager with a variety of functions. The ideal candidate will need to have excellent Month-end close experience and can manage a General Ledger. This is an excellent opportunity for an established accountant seeking stability and FANTASTIC benefits. This position will be able to work from home 2 days per week. Responsibilities
- Ability to understand, interpret, and disseminate financial information to ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Effective communication within and across departments to ensure accurate, reliable, and timely recording of journal entries for assigned general ledger accounts.
- Exposure to month-end close procedures and an understanding of reconciliation and appropriate correcting entries.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
