Overview
Registered Nurse – Outpatient Orthopedics in Claremont, New Hampshire starts 05/04/2026 for 13 weeks on a 40-hour day shift in a hospital-based outpatient orthopedic clinic. Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient orthopedic clinic nursing care for adult and pediatric patients, including pre- and post-operative assessment and education.
- Manage high-volume phone triage, perform triage assessments, and document findings in the EMR.
- Administer injections, draw blood, and assist with medications per approved protocols.
- Assist with orthopedic procedures and postoperative care, including wound care, dressing changes, and coordination with rehabilitation services.
- Monitor patient status, vital signs, pain management, and safety; uphold infection control and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the medical record and support care coordination across the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements
- Active New Hampshire Registered Nurse license (or Compact license) to practice in NH; license must be uploaded with profile.
- New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration certificate must be uploaded upfront with traveler profile.
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
- 3+ years current Orthopedic Clinic/Primary Care nursing experience.
- 2+ years current triage experience; strong phone triage skills.
- Experience with injections and drawing blood.
- Athena EMR experience highly preferred.
- Must have own vehicle and be willing to travel; local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered.
- Previous travel experience strongly preferred.
- Rural/small facility experience highly preferred.
