Overview
Sterile Processing Technician – Certified, located in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This travel assignment in a hospital setting starts 07/28/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. A weekly pay range of $1,468 to $1,493 is provided with guaranteed 40 hours per week. The schedule is rotating and includes shifting coverage. The role requires 3 years of sterile processing experience and certification as CSPDT or CRCST.

Responsibilities
- Clean, wrap, sterilize, and maintain inventory of instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies for surgery and related departments and clinics
- Prepare instrument trays, wrap and label sets, and verify counts to ensure complete, ready-to-use sterile packs
- Operate sterilization equipment and perform routine quality checks following established CSPD procedures
- Track and document sterilization cycles, instrument usage, and inventory levels; communicate supply needs to surgical teams
- Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards; participate in rotating call rotation as assigned

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of sterile processing experience
- Certification as CSPDT (Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician) or CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) required
- Ability to work in a hospital sterile processing environment and adhere to infection control policies
- Travel eligibility: permanent address at least 75 miles away from the facility
- CAPS credentialing: apply ASAP; may take up to two weeks to obtain
- Onboarding: ensure correct SSN and DOB in Medefis to avoid onboarding delays
- Eligible for rotating weekend/holiday call
