Job Description

Salary: $109,000 - 149,000 per year Requirements:

  • We require a bachelors degree plus at least 2 years of quality assurance experience in a financial services organization, or a high school diploma/GED plus 6 years of quality assurance experience in a financial services organization.
  • We need hands-on experience testing Salesforce configurations, including page layouts, flows, validation rules, security settings, profiles, permission sets, and custom Apex/Lightning components.
  • We prefer familiarity with banking or financial services processes such as retail banking, lending, wealth, or deposits, ideally within a bank, credit union, or similar institution.
  • We expect working knowledge of QA and defect-tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Azure DevOps, or comparable platforms.
  • We require a solid understanding of integration testing, including REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and data feeds, with experience validating data across connected systems.
  • We look for strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical partners.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder are preferred.
  • Experience in regulated environments with strict control and audit requirements, such as banking, financial services, or insurance, is preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • We lead test planning and execution for Salesforce Financial Services Cloud enhancements, releases, and projects, covering functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • We develop and maintain detailed test cases, scripts, and test data aligned to business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria in an agile setting.
  • We perform manual testing for core Financial Services Cloud capabilities, including financial accounts, client data models, households or relationship groups, referrals, and onboarding journeys.
  • We validate end-to-end workflows across Salesforce FSC and integrated platforms such as core banking, digital channels, data warehouses, document management, and middleware like MuleSoft, including APIs and batch processing.
  • We log, prioritize, and track defects through resolution while partnering closely with Salesforce admins, developers, integration teams, and product owners.
  • We carry out regression testing for major and minor releases, including smoke and sanity checks in lower environments and production validation when needed.
  • We participate in requirements and design reviews to identify testability, quality, and control considerations early in the lifecycle.
  • We help estimate and plan testing effort for functional, regression, integration, and UAT support during agile sprint planning.
  • We ensure test coverage for regulatory and compliance-related requirements within the Salesforce FSC solution.
  • We document and maintain QA deliverables such as test plans, traceability matrices, execution logs, and defect metrics in line with IT quality and SDLC standards.
  • We support and improve QA standards, templates, and processes, including contributing to the test automation strategy for Salesforce.
  • We collaborate with business stakeholders to support UAT, share testing progress updates, and demonstrate validated functionality as needed.
  • We monitor and report key quality metrics to support continuous improvement.
