Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Efficiently fold and construct cardboard boxes, double-lined with plastic garbage bags, in preparation for material processing.
• Perform various housekeeping duties, such as sweeping, picking up trash/pallet debris, and disposing of them onsite.
• Clean vehicles and other equipment as required.
• Occasionally paint handrails, stairs, and bollards to improve facility aesthetics.
• Use a pressure washer to clean buildings, vehicles, and concrete areas.
• Unload office supplies, set up tables/chairs for meetings and plant events, and perform other similar tasks.
• Wear required personal protective equipment, including long sleeves, long pants, hard hat, safety glasses, and appropriate gloves.
• Operate a forklift (prior experience preferred but not required).
• Receive orientation and training from the Health and Safety organization for all required responsibilities.

Skills:

• Ability to fold and construct cardboard boxes efficiently.
• Strong housekeeping skills, including sweeping, trash collection, and general facility upkeep.
• Experience with or willingness to learn forklift operation.
• Basic knowledge of pressure washing and painting for facility maintenance.
• Strong attention to safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment.
• Good physical stamina to perform cleaning and manual tasks.

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in construction, cleanup, warehousing, or similar fields is a plus.
