Sterile Processing Technician - Evening Shift

Location: Glenwood Springs, CO

Start Date: 07-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, with call rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $45 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Clean, wrap, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment following infection control standards
• Maintain inventory of sterile supplies for surgeries and department needs
• Inspect and assemble instrument trays to ensure completeness and functionality
• Operate sterilizers and document sterilization cycles accurately
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile supplies

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of sterile processing experience
• Certified as CSPDT or CRCST required
• Willingness to take rotating weekend and holiday call

Education

• High School graduate or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and infection control practices
• Familiarity with medical terminology and surgical instruments
• Proficiency in operating sterilization equipment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
