This limited-term position may be extended up to a ma x imum of 24 months , with the  possibility of becoming permanent.

The Analyst I/Analyst II Limited Term independently manages the Departments Employee Training Records System (ETRS) program as the subject matter expert and serve as the Departments Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Learning Portal System Administrator. The SSA/AGPA will also work in tandem with the Statewide Training Coordinator as the Associate Statewide Training Administrator. This position will complete complex analytical work consisting of regulatory compliance inquires and interpretations, audits, compliance inquiries, managing the POST Learning Portal System, compiling, tabulating, and reconciling training certificates, employee training files, coordination and compliance audits of non-uniform classification training, and managing the ETRS program. Additionally, this position will be responsible for complex, time sensitive tasks including but not limited to: compliance reports, training audits, data entry, training files, issuance of course control numbers, roster submissions, curriculum review, applicable legislative bill analysis, and helpdesk assistance for the ETRS application and database.

Working Conditions

The limted-term Analyst I/Analyst II will work both indoors and outdoors. While indoors, the temperature and humidity are reasonably controlled, however, while outdoors the employee is exposed to climatic conditions.

Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified before appointment. 2. Describe your experience working with computer programs, specifically any experience you have working with the Microsoft service suite (Excel, Word, Access) and any Learning Management System.
   
3. Describe your experience working with others in a team environment. Explain how you developed productive working relationships with peers and management. Explain your personal work style and tools that you use in managing this type of work setting.
   

Desirable Qualifications

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:

The ability to work independently with little supervision, strong written and verbal communication skills. Accurate typing and proofreading skills, expertise with the Microsoft office business suite, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Access database. Working knowledge of computer software, hardware, and network infrastructure. Excellent interpersonal skills, Knowledge and experience maintaining office files. Excellent organizational skills, experience as an Instructor with a diverse audience and experience with learning management systems.
